Woven cotton is the classic non-stretch fabric for quilting, patchwork, dresses, shirts, cushions, tea towels and bunting. Because we print to order, you are not limited to whatever bolts a shop has in stock: any of our 3,000+ designs, including Australian animals, florals, Christmas and sweary prints, can be printed on woven cotton in the quantity you need.

Is woven cotton the same as quilting cotton?
Yes, it is a quilting-weight 100% cotton: smooth, stable and non-stretch, suitable for quilts, garments and home décor alike.
How wide is it?
The printed width is listed on every product page under the fabric base; the usable print area is the width minus a small selvedge.
How does pre-order fabric work?
Every design is printed to order. Pick your design and fabric base, order before the round closes (the 15th or the last day of the month), and your fabric is printed in the next run and posted 4–6 weeks after the close. Flat-rate shipping is $14.95 Australia-wide no matter how much you order.
How is the fabric sold?
In 0.5 metre units, cut as one continuous length, so 4 units is 2 metres in one piece. There is no minimum beyond half a metre.
